What are Wrinkle Relaxers?
Wrinkle relaxers, a.k.a “Botox” and “Xeomin'' are the most popular FDA-approved cosmetic treatments performed nationwide. Wrinkle relaxers or neuromodulators are proteins made from Botulinum Toxin Type A. They have been safely and effectively used to fight wrinkles and improve facial appearance, by giving you a more youthful and refreshed look. If you are in the Denver Metro area, Drip ‘N Beauty wellness conveniently provides treatment to you on your schedule in the comfort and safety of your home, office, or hotel room.
How do Wrinkle Relaxers work and why do I need them?
They temporarily relax different muscle groups by disrupting the nerve signals that stimulate the muscle to contract. With the relaxation of the muscle, fine lines and wrinkles can be prevented or greatly reduced in appearance. Fine lines and wrinkles can be caused by repeated facial expressions (dynamic lines), aging, and overexposure to the sun. Although wrinkle relaxers start to work 2-5 days after injection, the full effect is seen at 2 weeks. You will need to be reinjected after 3-4 months to maintain your results.
What should I expect during a Botox or Xeomin treatment?
Botox and Xeomin are injected by a highly trained and experienced licensed Medical Practitioner. Upon arrival, we come prepared with a full medical bag, supplies needed for your treatment, and a mobile medical treatment chair. Each treatment begins with a personalized consultation including a discussion of your goals, an examination of your face, and a review of your medical history and treatment consent. Next we will hand-wash, put on gloves, take your vitals, and clean/prep the treatment area. During the treatment, a tiny amount of wrinkle relaxer is injected at specific areas into the desired muscle group with a very small needle, you which may feel like a small pinch. The treatment is safe, quick to perform, and easily tolerated. Each consultation and treatment combined lasts around 15-40 minutes depending on the areas being treated.

Dermal Fillers

Need a glow-up? Try Dermal Fillers to enhance your natural beauty. We offer Juvederm, Volbella, Voluma, Restalyne Kysse, and Revanesse Versa.

What are Dermal Fillers and why do I need them?
As we grow older, we begin to lose fat pad volume and bony support in our mid-face. As a result, this volume loss and sagging can give us a tired and older appearance. These deficits can be improved with dermal fillers which restore volume. Depending on your beauty goals, we can use dermal fillers to achieve a natural and refreshed look. Or we can enhance your natural beauty and create a sculpted and contoured appearance.
How do Dermal Fillers work?
Here at Drip’N Beauty Wellness, we offer FDA-approved Juvederm, Volbella, Voluma, Restalyne Kysse, and Revanesse Versa. These Dermal Fillers are a soft gel substance, also known as Hyaluronic Acid (HA), which naturally occurs in the body. Dermal Fillers are used to add volume and hydration to the face. They're great for plumping the lips and cheeks, easing wrinkles on the lower face, and highlighting/accentuating certain facial features. Depending on the filler used and the area injected, the results can last up to 1-2 years. Also, depending on your beauty goals and treatment area, more than 1 vial of filler may be recommended.

What should I expect from a Dermal Filler appointment?
Dermal Filler Injections are performed by a highly trained and experienced licensed Medical Practitioner. We come prepared with a fully equipped medical bag, supplies needed for your treatment, and a mobile medical treatment chair. Each treatment begins with a personalized consultation including a discussion of your goals, an examination of your face, and a review of your medical history and treatment consent. Before we start the injections, we will handwash, glove-up, take your vitals, and apply topical numbing cream. After the numbing cream has taken effect, the treatment area is cleaned and prepped. Next, the dermal fillers are injected with a small needle into the desired area. You may feel a slight pinch, but most patients say the procedure is easily tolerated. Last but not least, we will ensure that you are satisfied with the results. If needed, we may offer a cold compress to help soothe any discomfort and promote healing. While results are visible right away, healing takes about two weeks. This gives your skin time to heal and the dermal fillers time to settle in. In two weeks, any potential swelling will have gone down, and you'll be able to enjoy a more confident and refreshed appearance.

Fat Dissolver- Kybella

With Kybella, nonsurgical fat loss is now possible. Say goodbye to double chin, sagging jowls, and bra bulges!

What is Kybella and why do I need it?
Have you ever wondered how some celebrities achieved a chiseled, contoured, lean, or “snatched” facial appearance? Kybella is the answer! Kybella is approved by the FDA as a non-surgical option to permanently eliminate stubborn fat cells under the chin, which are nearly impossible to remove with diet and exercise alone. It also has off-label uses that can be applied to “heavy” or “sagging” jowls and the infamous “bra bulge”, both applications can help you achieve a more lean and contoured look. This treatment is a great alternative to reduce stubborn fat with minimal downtime and a faster recovery than liposuction.
How does Kybella work?
Kybella is an FDA-approved injectable treatment made from Deoxycholic Acid, which is a naturally occurring molecule within our bodies. Kybella a.k.a Deoxycholic Acid permanently destroys fat cells. Kybella is FDA approved to reduce submental fullness, also known as a “double chin”. Off-label it can also be used to eliminate fat in other areas of the body such as the jowls or “bra bulge”. Once the fat cells are destroyed, your body will naturally metabolize and expel them as waste. This treatment will have you looking leaner with minimal downtime. Depending on your goals and the treatment area, more than 1 vial of Kybella may be recommended.
What to expect during a Kybella Injection:
Our Kybella Injections are performed and/or supervised by a highly trained, meticulous, and experienced Family Nurse Practitioner. After booking your appointment, our Practitioner will reach out to you virtually to review your medical history, current medications, and the location/time of your appointment. If you are a good candidate for this treatment, we will come to you prepared with a fully equipped medical bag, a mobile medical treatment chair, and the supplies needed for your procedure. Our Aesthetic Medicine services always begin with a personalized consultation, examination of your face and skin’s surface, and a discussion of your beauty goals. Before treatment starts, we are also sure to review your medical history, and current medications, and receive your consent to treat. Next, we will ensure you are comfortable in our treatment chair, handwash, glove-up, map the area using a special temporary grid, and apply numbing cream to the treatment area. Once the numbing cream is activated, we will clean and prep the treatment area. Next, we will insert the medication using a small needle. You might feel a small pinch, but most patients describe it as minimal discomfort. Last, but certainly not least we will show you the results using a handheld mirror and ensure your satisfaction. We will then offer you a cold compress to help soothe the treatment area.
What to expect after a Kybella Injection:
It is very normal to experience some swelling and discomfort in the treatment area, of which the timeframe is dependent on the individual patient. Most commonly swelling can occur up to 1-month post-injection. This can be relieved by a cold compress immediately after injection, a warm compress a few days following injection, self-massage (as tolerated), and/or over-the-counter pain relievers. A compression chin strap can also be used to ease any discomfort. Our Family Nurse Practitioner will be sure to check in on you virtually, during your healing time frame. We are also available for any questions or concerns you may have afterward.
